Personal Project
After moving to New York, I bought some new plant friends for my home. However, I often would forget to water them! I realized I could find out the basic information for the plant (Water percentage, how often to water them) and so Plantie was born.
Exhibition Title: Passion. Connected. 100x100.
Exhibition Period: November 1, 2017 - January 31, 2018
The Korean Cultural Center NY(KCCNY) was gearing up for the opening of Passion. Connected. 100x100., a special exhibition organized to celebrate the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics in Korea. I was selected for helmet design for 'Passion.Connected.' Keyword was Sports. Overall, I visualized all movements of the Winter Olympics sports in a minimalist way. The basic color was mainly used for the colors of the Winter Olympics logo. The sport of skiing is highlighted by the movement of the blue curve on the center of the helmet. I also wanted to show the stronger moving Korean Winter Olympics. The mountains of Pyeongchang are graphically arranged below. The shape of the curling was visualized as a yellow circle and the wind motion of the short track or speed skating was shown using three lines. The movement of figure skating was visualized by a circular vortex, it should be adding to the look of the Olympic sports games based on expressive shapes.

I had a lot of frustration and difficulty preparing for my green card during 2017. Through such personal experience, I wanted to create a simple and organized app for visas. The VIY app makes it easy to find the right type of visa for you and to get a brief introduction to the visa and check the necessary documents for the course. We also have a personal profile to help you prepare for your current visa status and future visas, or to find a visa-related attorney around you in cases where it is hard for individuals to have time.

DISCOVERY LANGUAGE SCHOOL is an international language school located in New Jersey and New York. I made a brochure to promote the language school. The strengths of this school are to communicate with students, learn English in an autonomous environment, and offer a variety of conveniences, including airport pick-up, homestay connections and seasonal semester events. In the brochure, I tried to show the strength and freedom of the institute in the layout and photographs.
